On November 17, the 2023 China Pharmaceutical Industry Development Conference, co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal People's Government, and the National Health Commission, opened in Beijing.

To track domestic and international research developments in real time and identify the top achievements in the domestic pharmaceutical R&D field, since 2010, the China Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center, organized by the National Pharmaceutical Industry Annual Conference, along with the China Pharmaceutical Industry Research Institute and Shanghai Pharmaceutical Industry Research Institute, has formed an expert panel to select the “Best Industrial Enterprises in Chinese Pharmaceutical R&D Product Lines” for the year, which is then officially announced at the National Pharmaceutical Industry Annual Conference. These results have received significant attention and recognition from the industry and numerous enterprises. In 2023, the China Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center continued to conduct research and analysis on pharmaceutical industry enterprises using objective data, and released the list of the Best Industrial Enterprises in Chinese Pharmaceutical R&D Product Lines for 2023.

On November 18, the "2023 Best Industrial Enterprise for Pharmaceutical R&D Product Lines in China" list was announced at the 40th National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Conference and the 2022 Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Industries Forum.
